Garden Centre Manager
Historic in all senses of the word, Syon Park Garden Centre is built around the beautiful sixteenth century stable block of Syon Park, London residence of the Dukes of Northumberland for more than 4 centuries. Opened in 1968 by HM the Queen Mother, it was a pioneer in the garden centre world. The first 'garden centre' of its kind, it paved the way for a thriving industry that has, since then, transformed the gardens of the nation.
We sell top quality growing stock, gardening products and garden furniture as well as birdcare products, floristry, houseplants and books. We also have a fabulous giftware and greeting card department and at Christmas, an inspiring display of decorations, lights and trees. Our restaurant sells delicious home-made snacks and lunches whilst our staff are friendly and helpful horticultural experts who pride themselves on giving good practical advice to expert and amateur gardeners alike.
We all look forward to welcoming you to the centre soon - why not combine a visit with Syon House and its beautiful gardens?
