You can't visit the north east without visiting one of the UK's biggest garden centres.
We love plants; from bedding plants to shrubs and trees, you'll be sure to find something for your garden!
With probably the greatest range of plants in Northumberland, the centre has a well-deserved reputation for top quality plants and an excellent array of gardening products. Once refreshed you can hit the home and giftware ranges and all the fashion outlets on site. Finally, if that's not enough we have a range of garden furniture and BBQs for every size garden.
A team of friendly staff takes great pride in the centre and are on hand to offer great advice and help
Join Jo Jingles
Every Wednesday during term time, from 9.45am - 12pm
Join us for Jo Jingles' Music and Movement classes! Established in 1991, Jo Jingles' classes provide interactive music, singing and movement with an educational slant for children aged from three months to five years. All sessions are run by highly trained and experienced teachers with a little help from a Jo Jingles doll.
Jo is extremely friendly and actively participates in the classes. He loves to stimulate young minds and teach children to play percussion instruments, sing songs and make new friends.
There will be three sessions throughout the day. They will take place from 9.45am to 10.30am for children aged two to five years, from 10.30am to 11.15am for children who are walking age to two years, and from 11.15am to 12noon for babies aged between three months and one year.
Each session costs £5 and there is also a small insurance charge per child which covers the whole term.

Craft and Coffee Club
Every 1st Tuesday and every 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month
Crafters are invited to a Craft and Coffee Club at the garden centre! The Club is a great way for people to try something new and to meet other people; ideal for anyone who enjoys creative projects!
The informal mornings are very sociable affairs and are fun for all, whether you're a beginner or an experienced crafter. The sessions are a great opportunity to develop a new skill or swap ideas, hints and tips with others. There is always something to learn from the other crafters in the group, and this often sparks creativity in others. People leave with fresh ideas and new techniques to try!
The Craft and Coffee Club will take place on the first Tuesday of every month from 10am, and the first and third Sunday of every month from 9.30am.
Tickets cost £3 per person and include tea or coffee.
Crafters will also get 10% off full price products in our Craft Department on the day of the workshop, which can be reserved at the Customer Services desk.
Customers will need to provide their own basic equipment and can join in with the craft activities on offer, or just bring a project they may be working on at that moment in time.
