I am thinking about planting Clematis Montana flowers - do you have any tips?
Clematis Montana is the most famous spring flowering clematis, festooned with flowers from late spring; May through to the end of June. They are large, fast growing, deciduous climbing plants with four petal flowers in a variety of colours from pure white to deep pinks. They don't need pruning and are extremely hardy requiring virtually zero maintenance. They thrive in poor soils, (they are very tolerant of dry soils) in sun or partial shade. They are large plants so are often planted to grow through tall trees or over an unsightly outbuilding.
