Questions and Answers
I planted six hostas in pots last weekend and two fruit trees. Without warning we have had frost twice this week, will they be ok?
Not to worry, your plants will be absolutely fine! Fruit trees are usually able to withstand freezing temperatures very well, while hosta have plenty of sugars in their foliage, giving them fantastic protection from frosts. What you should watch out for is slugs and snails, which love to devour hosta particularly for those sugary properties!
