Can I move my rose plant? If so, when is the best time to move my rose plant?
Yes, it is possible to move roses. The best time to do this would be in the late autumn, once the rose is dormant. Cut the rose back by a third of its height before you dig it up and try to keep the rootball as intact as possible. If you’re potting it up temporarily, we recommend using Westland John Innes no 3, which is a loam-based compost.
