Cupressus macrocarpa Goldcrest'
Monterey cypress - 10 litres
Cupressus macrocarpa 'Goldcrest' is a compact, upright-growing golden-leaved cypress often trained into formal shapes. It is suitable for growing in sheltered sunny borders or in large containers. Trim lightly 2 or 3 times from spring to September to maintain size and shape. Do not cut back into old wood. A spiral trained plant with a height of 160-170cm when purchased can be restricted in size and its shape maintained by regular trimming. Plant in well-drained, fertile soil, in a sunny site sheltered from cold winds. If growing a container use John Innes No.3 potting compost and provide protection in winter. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
