Buddleja davidii Buzz Sky Blue ('Tobuskyblu')
Butterfly Bush - 3 litres
Buddleja davidii Buzz Sky Blue ('Tobuskyblu') is one of a series of new compact varieties of the Butterfly bush which are perfect for smaller gardens and even patio containers. Its large, dense spikes of scented clear blue flowers, borne over several months from midsummer, well set off by handsome grey-green leaves, are just as attractive to butterflies and bees as those of the larger varieties-on a bush growing only 1.2m by 1m (4ft x 3ft). It will generally be smaller, around 1m high, in a container.
Easy and hardy in any well-drained, fertile soil, in a sunny, sheltered site. Trim off faded spikes to prolong flowering. Prune each stem hard back to a few buds in March.
British nursery grown.
