Caryopteris x clandonensis Hint of Gold = 'Lisaura'(PBR)
Blue Spiraea, Bluebeard - 3 litres
Caryopteris x clandonensis Hint of Gold = 'Lisaura' PBR is an award-winning variety of this popular small shrub, with gorgeous bright lime-green to gold foliage forming a fabulous background to a long display of deep violet-blue flowers, loved by bees and butterflies, over many weeks in late summer and early autumn. Combines brilliantly with purple-leaved Sedums like 'Purple Emperor' and grey or silver-leaved plants such as lavenders and Artemisia, thriving in similar conditions of light, well-drained soil in sun. Very tolerant of chalky soils.
Height and spread 60-90cm (2-3ft). Prune annually in March, cutting all stems down to within 5-7.5cm (2-3in) of ground level. Mulch in autumn. In very cold areas grow by a sunny warm wall.
