Fuchsia 'Lady Thumb'
Hardy Fuchsia - 2 litres
Fuchsia 'Lady Thumb' is a small, very free-flowering variety forming a neat, compact mound, covered from June into November with masses of little scarlet and white flowers. Fits equally well into the front of shrub or herbaceous borders or summer bedding schemes. Also excellent in a container. Height and spread 25cm by 45cm (10in x 18in).
Thrives in moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil, in sun or light shade, sheltered from cold, drying winds. Mulch in autumn. Cut hard back almost to ground level as new growth appears in spring. If growing in containers, overwinter in a frost-free place and re-pot in fresh compost each spring.
