Shrubby honeysuckle - 3 litres
Lonicera fragrantisima is a shrubby honeysuckle loved for its small creamy-white flowers with an intense sweet fragrance, borne in mild periods in winter through to early spring. Delightful in the garden and lovely to cut for winter vases. The dark green leaves, blue-green beneath, are semi-evergreen in all but the coldest winters.
Makes a medium-sized, bushy shrub growing around 2m by 3m (6.5ft x 10ft). Thrives in any well-drained soil in sun or light shade, flowering most freely by a wall. Can be kept compact and vigorous by pruning after flowering, cutting a proportion of the oldest stems down to the ground.
