Pieris 'Forest Flame' (flame of the forest) is a deservedly popular shrub bearing eye-catching bright red new leaves that mature to pink and cream before turning green - sensational in spring with further flushes throughout the growing season. Small creamy bell-shaped flowers appear in spring. Excellent in a container.
Medium-sized hardy evergreen shrub. Plant in well drained humus-rich, lime-free soil in a sunny or partially-shaded sheltered position. Avoid frost pockets.
