Viburnum tinus 'French White'
Laurustinus - 3 litres
Viburnum tinus 'French White' is an outstanding, vigorous variety of this popular evergreen, with large clusters of pure white flowers standing out well against neat, dense, dark green foliage from late autumn through winter into spring, sometimes followed by dark blue berries. Provides early and late nectar for bees. Forms a large bush up to 3m (10ft) high and wide or can be kept smaller by trimming after flowering (though this will be at the expense of berries). Excellent as a space filler and screening plant.
Thrives in well-drained soil, in sun or light shade, sheltered from cold winds. Tolerant of deep shade, though flowering best with some sun. Drought tolerant once established.
