Viburnum tinus 'Lisarose'PBR
Laurustinus - 3 litres
Viburnum tinus 'Lisarose' is a fantastic new variety of this popular evergreen, with lustrous dark green leaves on mahogany stems and larger, more prolific heads of deep pink buds than on any previous variety, opening to blush- pink flowers from September to April, followed by dark blue berries. A superb shrub for winter colour in the garden and excellent for flower arranging. Provides early and late nectar for bees.
A compact but vigorous shrub growing up to 3m by 3m (10ft x 10ft), making an excellent screening plant, or can be kept smaller by trimming after flowering (though this will be at the expense of berries). Thrives in well-drained soil, in sun or light shade, sheltered from cold winds. Tolerant of shade, though flowering best with some sun. Drought tolerant once established.
Bee and butterfly friendly.
British nursery grown.
