Photinia x fraseri 'Pink Marble' = 'Cassini' PBR
Photinia - 3 litres
Photinia x fraseriPink Marble ('Cassini') is a unique and colourful form of this popular evergreen, with vivid red new leaves edged and marbled pink, maturing to sage green variegated silver-cream. Clusters of small white flowers open in spring, sometimes followed by red berries. A fabulous addition to a shrub or mixed border. Provides wonderful cut foliage for flower arranging. Can also be grown in a container. Grows 3-4m (10-13ft) high and wide if left un-pruned, though can be kept more compact by trimming.
Thrives in any moist but well-drained, fertile soil, in sun or partial shade, sheltered from cold winds. Keep plants in containers well watered and fed and keep in a warm, sheltered place in winter. Trim after the first flush of new growth in spring, up to twice more in the summer if wished, no later than August.
