Useful/additional information Sow April to June. Place seed on the surface of a good free draining compost and cover with a sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Seal container inside a polythene bag and place at 15-20C (59-68F) until after germination which usually takes 14 to 3 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into pots. Grow on in cooler conditions for 10 to 15 days before planting out after risk of frost, 60cm (24 inches) apart. Always ensure good drainage, mulch with compost in autumn. Plants will prove hardy if wet winter conditions are avoided.

Our hardy plants are the best quality so we now offer a lifetime guarantee.
