For Spring/Summer flowering pot plants: Sow in a cool greenhouse or conservatory in late summer/early autumn. Grow on cool in full light in a cool glasshouse or cold frame and water sparingly. When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 15cm (6in) apart. Gradually acclimatise eschscholzia plants to outdoor conditions when all risk of frost has passed before planting outdoors in any well drained soil in full sun. Water regularly until plants are fully established. Deadhead faded eschscholzia flowers to prevent them from self seeding.|
