Leucanthemum x superbum 'Banana Cream'
Shasta Daisy - 2 litres
Leucanthemum x superbum 'Banana Cream' is a gorgeous variety of Shasta daisy, with large daisy-type flowers opening pale yellow with bright golden-yellow centres, fading to white, creating a pretty bicolour effect, from midsummer into autumn, set off by dark green foliage. Lovely at the front of a border with blue or purple Salvias and Veronicas and yellow Crocosmias. Highly attractive to bees and butterflies and excellent as a cut flower.
Height and spread 45cm by 30cm (18in x 12in). Thrives in well-drained, humus-rich soil, in sun or light shade. Regular deadheading prolongs flowering. Lift and split in spring every 2 or 3 years to maintain vigour.
British nursery grown.
