Achillea filipendulina 'Cloth of Gold' is a striking tall perennial with large, flat heads of deep golden-yellow flowers from July to September and feathery, light green foliage. Excellent as cut flowers and for drying. Height and spread 1.5m. x 45cm. Suitable for the middle or back of a herbaceous or mixed border, or in drifts in prairie-style plantings.
Easy in well-drained soil which doesn't get too dry in summer, in sun. Remove faded flowers to prolong flowering.
This plant has an RHS Award of Garden Merit
Bee and butterfly friendly.
