Helenium 'Double Trouble'PBR
Sneezeweed - 3 litres
Helenium 'Double Trouble' PBR is the first double-flowered variety of these tough, easy perennials, with comparatively small but plentiful bright yellow flowers with a double layer of petals round a gold-green central knob, from midsummer into autumn. Attractive to bees and butterflies and an excellent cut flower. Associates well with yellow, orange and red late summer-flowering plants such as Rudbeckias, Crocosmias and Helianthus; good in prairie-style plantings.
Height and spread 75cm by 45cm (30in x 18in). Thrives in rich, moist but well-drained soil, in full sun. Benefits greatly from regular deadheading. Split and replant in spring every two or three years.
