Cider Gum Tree - 10 litres
Eucalyptus gunnii (cider gum) is the best known and one of the hardiest of the eucalyptus. Exceptionally fast growing, it bears smooth pale bark shed yearly in late summer. Adult tree leaves are long, lance shaped and sage green; the leaves of young trees are rounded, startling silver blue and continue to be produced if the tree is pruned hard in spring, which also keeps it as a shrub. Worth doing - these fabulous juvenile leaves are a great favourite with flower arrangers!
Large frost hardy evergreen tree. 6-8m after 10 years. Plant in well-drained fertile soil in a sunny sheltered position.
