Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora 'Norwich Canary'
Monbretia - 3 litres
Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora 'Norwich Canary' is a delightful variety with plentiful dainty clear yellow flowers opening from orange buds from July to September, above a sheaf of slender fresh green sword-shaped leaves. Looks good at the front or middle of a border with blue Agapanthus and dark-leaved Dahlias. Lovely as a cut flower.
Height and spread 60-75cm by 40cm (24-30in x 16in). Thrives in moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil, in sun or light shade. To keep flowering well and to maintain flower size, divide and replant in early spring every two or thee years. Mulch in autumn in cold areas.
