Hesperantha coccinea Pink Princess= 'Wilfred H. Bryant'
Kaffir Lilly - 2 litres
Hesperantha coccinea Pink Princess ='Wilfred H.Bryant' is an elegant late flowering perennial with spikes of silky pale pink flowers, lovely in the border and as a cut flower, above a clump of slender iris-like leaves, from late August through to November. Combines well in a border with blue, purple and pink Michaelmas daisies and grasses and looks good by a pond.
Height and spread 60cm by 30cm, spreading to make a dense mat. Thrives in most soils which remain moist in summer and autumn but not waterlogged in winter, in full sun. Mulch in winter in cold areas. Lift and divide clumps every few years in spring to keep them flowering well. Until recently Hesperantha coccinea was known as Shizostylis coccinea.
