Epimedium youngianum 'Roseum'
Barrenwort - 2 litres
Epimedium x youngianum 'Roseum' is a charming compact perennial with tiny lilac-rose columbine-like flowers on wiry stems from mid-spring to early summer, mingling with attractive heart-shaped leaves. Forms a slowly spreading mound 20-30cm by 30cm. Thrives in moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil in light or full shade, associating well with hostas, pulmonarias and other shade-loving perennials. A mulch of leaf mould or compost in spring is beneficial. British nursery grown.
