Cotoneaster frigidus 'Cornubia'
Tree Cotoneaster - 7.5 litres
Cotoneaster frigidus is a vigorous and spreading little tree, excellent for screening. Dark rich green foliage is an attractive foil for small white flowers and showy clusters of large red berries borne in such abundance in autumn and winter that they weigh down the branches. Good for wildlife - the flowers attract bees whilst the berries are a magnet for birds.
Medium-sized hardy semi-evergreen tree. 4-5m after 10 years. Plant in any reasonably well drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
This plant has an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
