Betula nigra 'Heritage' is a selected form of River Birch, with light brown to cream bark and glossy dark green leaves which turn yellow in autumn. Yellow-brown catkins are borne in spring. It is best planted in moist, well drained soil, and grows to an ultimate height of 16.1m - 20m in 20 - 50 years.
