Prunus incisa f.yamadae is a rare small, bushy tree, with masses of small pure white bell-shaped flowers opening from bright green buds in early spring. 3m.high in 10 years, ultimately 5-6m. Discovered growing in the wild near Mount Fuji in Japan early in the last century. Plant in moist but well-drained soil, in full sun.
