Amelanchier canadensis Rainbow Pillar has a neat and slender pillar shaped habit ideal for small gardens. A profusion of white flowers is produced in April followed by juicy edible purple fruit in June, hence the common name Juneberry. Foliage turns from green to brilliant red and orange in autumn.
Small hardy deciduous ornamental tree, 3-4m after 10 years.Prefers moist humus-rich lime-free soil (acid, neutral). Tolerates damp heavy soils, plant in sun or partial shade.
