Vaccinium corymbosum 'Goldtraube' (BLUEBERRY) produces excellent crops of large berries with a delicious rich and fresh flavour. Pretty pink flowers are borne in spring and the foliage colours beautifully in autumn. Ideal in a container or border.
Medium-sized hardy deciduous bush. Grows approx. 1.5m high and wide. Crops late August; some fruit in the first season after planting, heavier crops thenceforward.
Plant in well-drained humus-rich, lime-free soil in full sun or partial shade. If grown in a container, plant in ericaceous compost. Shelter from strong winds. Prune annually in winter. Partially self-fertile; best planted with a different variety.
