Rubus idaeus 'Tulameen'
Raspberry 'Tulameen' - 3 litres
Rubus idaeus (Raspberry) 'Tulameen' is a superb mid- late season variety producing medium to large sweet, wonderfully flavoured berries on relatively spineless canes. Much prized for the yield and quality of the fruit. Ripens mid-July to mid-August. All raspberries are self-fertile.
Height 1.5-1.65m. Plant 45cm (18in) apart in well-drained, preferably slightly acid soil. Needs support: tie to post-and-wire supports with the top wire at 1.65m. Ripens best in full sun, but light shade is acceptable. Shelter from strong winds is essential. Prune annually immediately after picking, cutting all fruited canes down to ground level. Select the best new canes and tie in 10cm apart. In February cut all canes to 15cm above the top wire.
5 bare root canes per pot.
