Daucus carota Carrot 'Tendersnax' is an early maturity sister line to 'Sugarsnax', producing slightly tapered, 13-15cm (5-6in) blunt ended, smooth, rich orange roots. Outstanding juicy and tender sweet flavour and delicious eaten raw in salads, used for juicing or as a cooked vegetable. High in Beta-carotene and Vitamin A and rich in antioxidants.

|Useful/additional information||Sow at 4 week intervals. Sow seeds thinly, 1cm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart. Thin seedlings to 5cm (2in) apart when large enough to handle, to reduce risk of carrot root fly attack. Keep well watered for best quality roots. Later sowings can be lifted and stored.|
