12 plants per strip
Brassica juncea Mustard Frilly Mix provides an attractive combination of 'cut and come again' green and dark red mustards with narrow indented leaves, with a mild mustard flavour. Use them to add zing to salads or in stir fries. Use full-size leaves for a stronger, more peppery flavour, baby leaves for a milder flavour. Pick frequently to maintain a supply of fresh leaves over many weeks.
Plant 15-20cm apart for full size leaves, 3-5cm apart for baby leaves, in well-drained, humus-rich soil, in sun or light shade. Protect from slugs. Water well in dry weather. Always water in the morning up to midday. Watering late in the day increases the risk of rotting.
Plant outdoors from March to September and harvest from May to November.
