x-Magnolia stellata

Magnolia stellata is the smallest of all the Magnolias, bearing prolific pure white, fragrant, star-shaped flowers in March through to April. This plant is compact and suitable for growing in a lawn or mixed border. Like all Magnolias, can be reduced in size by pruning after flowering if necessary. Plant in moist, but well drained, humus-rich soil, in sun or light shade.
